Registration, Classes and Fees

2022/2023 Season

REGISTRATION

Saturday, September 10, 2022 - 12 Noon – 3:00 pm

• Please be prepared to answer – why you want to be a part of Namyanka

• Govans United Methodist Church – 5210 York Road, Baltimore, MD

PLACEMENTS

• September Classes – 10th, 17th, 24th - auditions and placement – 12 noon – 3:00 pm

• Technical and creative assessment – for community, members and ensemble

CLASSES

• Saturdays, October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

• Times to be announced according to the number of participants, and placement

o 10:00 am class ( children - depends on registration) 11:00 am Class (youth) 12:15 pm – 1:30 pm – Class (teens/Adults) 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm (rehearsal)

• Thursday, October 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th - 6:30 – 8:00 pm

• Community Class - (Thursday) starting in October

CLASS ATTIRE – Studio T-shirt and black pants/leggings. Leotards under t-shirt please.

FEES - Registration Fee, September Dues, and t-shirt fee all due on September 10th

• Registration Fee - $25.00

• Monthly Fee – for September - $90.00 for everyone

• Monthly Fee – October – June – Ages 9-adults - $120.00

• Monthly Fee – October – June – Ages 5-8 - $85.00 (depends on class placement)

• Studio T-shirt - $20.00

• $5.00 off per student for family members in the same household

• Community Class - $20.00 / per class or $75/monthly fee



POLICY STATEMENT

Namyanka is a Christian performing arts organization and ministry that adheres to the Word of God as written in the Holy Scriptures.

Namyanka’s mission is to provide training in the performing arts that will be used to deliver God’s Word in movement, and to see God’s people healed, saved, and delivered.

Each member of Namyanka is responsible for maintaining and upholding the policies of Namyanka with our behavior in and out of the ministry – which includes school, church, home, work and community.

Improper activities/conduct could above all things – dishonor the Word of God, impede the movement of God, damage the ministry’s reputation and otherwise result in serious adverse consequences to the ministry and to the members involved.

It is expected that all members /parents will adhere to the policies as outlined. Compliance with the policies applies to all members.

Each non-adherence will be discussed and reviewed with the director and assistant director and principal advisors to Namyanka prior to the final determination/decision.

Violations or non-adherence to the policies could result in either no admission to Namyanka or immediate dismissal.

It is expected that the ministerial staff – captains, jr. captains, assistants will not only meet the minimum standards of conduct required, but will serve as outstanding example of the policies.

The policies continuously apply throughout the entire period of membership to Namyanka Performing Arts Training Center.
